We had the extreme pleasure and privilege to be friends and neighbors with Alan White. Alan was a regular customer at my old drum shop near Alan's home in Bellevue, WA. We had the pleasure of working with him and his drums on countless occasions. Alan played this 1990s Zildjian 22" K Custom ride cymbal with YES and several of his solo projects.
Alan gave me the cymbal following one of his appearances at my old drum shop in the 2000s.
The cymbal is in great shape, and only shows stick marks from Alan's use. Alan signed the cymbal "Thanks, Alan White".
I found this to be a great Rock and Jazz cymbal. From low to high volumes it has amazing clarity, character and great tone.
