From 2007, we have a Michael Bashkin Placencia OM with Indian ebony back and sides—yes, you read that right, ebony! This is truly a remarkable and unique guitar, featuring Italian spruce on top. It stands out for many reasons. Despite being from 2007, it’s in incredible condition and has opened up to extreme heights. The subtle multiscale of 25″ – 25.625″ is almost unnoticeable until you look at it while playing, offering great sustain and sonic fullness in altered tunings while feeling perfectly at home in standard tuning as well.
