USED Harmony Stella Sunburst 1970 Acoustic Guitar w/Gig Bag
Harmony was at one time the largest stringed instrument maker in the US and sold instruments under their own name as well as private labeling for other brands and catalog stores. This 1970 Harmony Stella SN 7464H929 was made in 1970, about five years before Harmony ceased operation. It's in excellent condition for it's age with no chips, dings or dents. No fret wear, and all the glue joints are solid. The neck is steel reinforced, but not adjustable. Action is around .090 - .100 at the 12th fret, and the wooden bridge could always be shaved. The neck is quite straight and given inexpensive guitars of the era, this was probably perfectly acceptable action (This was built well before Bob Taylor came along and spoiled everyone's expectations).
It comes with the original "gig bag" which will keep the guitar dry, but it's more like a garment bag and offers no padding.
This a very nice example of late-era Harmony guitars, and is plenty good as a player, or a collectable.
