This 1980's Alvarez 5084 Biphonic Acoustic Electric Guitar has a Spruce top paired with Mahogany back and sides, serving up some rich, resonant tones. The Mahogany neck sports a cool "V" shape, and the Rosewood fingerboard and bridge add that classic vibe. With a 1.75" nut width, 16" radius, and a 25.6" scale length, this guitar feels awesome in your hands and plays like a dream. It weighs in at 5 pounds on the dot, making it a joy to play! The BiSonic pickup is really interesting- the bass strings (EAD) are wired to one output and the treble strings (GBE) are wired to their own output. If you like big guitar sounds, this is the one for you!
This guitar’s got the perfect amount of mojo for its age and is in very good condition. There are some light pick scratches here and there, but no cracks or splits, and the frets are in excellent condition.
