This is a circa 1895 Lyon & Healy banjo in remarkably good shape. I had my Luthier repair it when I got it. He has re-skinned it and found the appropriate tensioners to make it completely original except for the skin and probably the string tuners.
It has the tapered tuners which I think are probably replacement bone or very hard plastic. The previous owners didn't put gear tuners on this banjo which makes it fairly original but for a non banjo player like me difficult to tune.
Comes with a new Crossrock hard shell case which I have shown in the pictures.
Thanks for looking and let me know if I can answer any questions.
