Vintage 1961 Ludwig Downbeat set with matching snare in Sky Blue Pearl finish. This may be a conventional Downbeat set, augmented with the 16x16" floor tom, and 14x5" Jazz Festival snare. Regardless, it's a fantastic configuration and perfect for modern applications. Truly exceptional condition. It's been really well taken care of, with only a couple minor scuffs. The photos tell it like it is.

All original parts and mufflers, and all function just like they're supposed to. All chrome over brass hoops. Snare drum is date stamped November 29, 1961.

I loved playing this set, at all volumes and feels it is super responsive. In the demo video I had the 20x14" bass drum tuned wide open for be-bop playing, but with dampening and lower tuning, the bass becomes punchy and thunderous, great for pop, funk or rock.

Cymbal stands, cymbals, pedal and snare stand not included.
