The best of the best of the best of all the Eric Clapton Signature Series Martins. Back and sides of gorgeous Brazilian rosewood and extra-special mother-of-pearl and abalone inlay. This is a most stunning player and collector’s item. The ablone-within-pearl borders of the snowflake fingerboard inlay, and the very special abalone vine peghead inlay design, are taken from a 1902 Martin. Engelmann spruce for the top, solid V-shaped mahogany neck, ebony fret board and 42 style appointments. There were only 200 of these Limited Edition 000-42 ECBs made, 24 years ago, and this is number 104. Along with a couple of other special features, all instruments were numbered sequentially 1 though 200 and the label signed by Eric Clapton himself. Condition of this example is pristine, I am the second owner. The original owner put it away upon purchase with the idea in mind of keeping it that way. All original serial numbered paperwork is intact and is included with the guitar.
Anomalies in the photographs are just that. There are no blemishes or scratches.
Not listing to test the waters, I’m interested in selling. Serious, reasonable, offers will definitely be considered. Please ask all questions.
