This is a Bach Stradivarius Model 182 Flugelhorn with serial # 95xxx placing it between 1973 and 1974 most likely from serial number lists I've seen. It has normal wear for a 50 year old brass instrument. Some lacquer has worn off in spots and I see one bean sized dent near the brace closest to the mouthpiece receiver on the bell piece. There is some engraving on the 3rd valve that says something like "35th Div Band KSARNG" so this probably belonged to a military band at one point. I bought the horn last year and have decided to part with it. Also included is the original case and a Yamaha Bobby Shew Flugelhorn Mouthpiece that I had Frost Brass convert the taper to a Bach taper to use with this horn. Please reach out if you have any questions.
