Here we have unique piece of rock history. The Buzzard we designed by John Entwistle of The Who, but this particular one is a one-off custom bass designed by Warwick for Mario Cippolina of Huey Lewis and the News.

Mario confirmed that he played this bass for an entire European tour before he got into 5 strings.

Weighs 9.2 pounds but has good balance and it’s a ball to play. Neck thru design, gold hardware. The active EMGs sound fantastic. There is a custom inlay with Mario’s name at the bottom of the fretboard. Ebony fretboard with Zebrano body.
Push/pull active/passive volume knob.
This bass has been gigged and has its battle scars but nothing horrendous. There’s scratches, blemishes, dings, and random marks. There’s a hole where a former strap knob used to be. The biggest is a chip in the headstock you can see in the picture.
Includes a Warwick Rockbag designed specifically for the Buzzard’s unique shape.
Ships insured UPS ground to the continental US ONLY. Shipping will of course require a custom box due to its size. Thanks for looking, and let me know if you want additional pic.
