The Proteus 3 World was designed to provide access to a wide range of ethnic and world music sounds in an affordable rack-mount module, using samples from E-mu's high-end Emulator III library.
I have checked the module by connecting a MIDI keyboard and trying a lot of presets at random, as well as the built in demo and all worked perfectly. There are some really great sounds to discover!
