This is a small amp that I've found useful in a number of ways. It doesn't have any branding but it says GA-20 Guitar Amplifier on it. On the back it says 20W output.

I added an auto-switching jack to be able to plug into external cabinets to extend it's usefulness.

It sounds fine but its about utility vs tone with an amp like this. It's small form-factor has made it useful as a bench / testing amp.

Having said that, playing bass through it is disproportionately fun! Maybe it's from my days as a teenage bass player in the 80's playing through an endless variety of just bottom-of-the-barrel, cheap, transistor-radio sounding, crap-tastic practice amps and struggling to extract some marginally-useful but always obnoxious 'tone' out of them. I had to laugh recently when Brad the Guitologist mentioned everyone his age either had or knew someone that had a Gorilla practice amp. If you lived it, you know!

Engage the drive and dial back the highs to avoid shrill top-end, adjust the bass to as much as it will handle before going all 'farty', depending on whether you're playing through the internal 6.5" speaker or a larger external one, and have at it. Lo-fi grindy even up to Lemmy-adjacent higher-gain tones are in there and put a smile on my face.

As a practice amp for guitar, it can be a decent pedal platform. Having a headphone output, it can be used for silent practice as well.
