DAKING 1112 24 CH 8 BUS CONSOLE CLASS A DISCRETE 2000's

Daking 1112 24-channel Class A Discrete Console 8 bus 4 aux sends 24 mic pres and EQs. Jensen transformers throughout, 40 channels available at mix down. Amazing sounding console designed after the Trident A range. Full patchbays and cabling included, that alone is almost a $17K value.

This console is from the early 2000's and was close to $60K new. I lost my studio space last year and the console has been wrapped and placed in climate-controlled storage. Recapped around 2015 and always maintained. The console was in full working condition when decommissioned but had some sticking solo buttons and scratchy pots. Because it has been in storage the console is being sold as-is and you should plan to have a qualified tech go through and service/commission the console. I'm selling at a substantial discount from its market value since I can no longer store this console and I'm taking into account there may be some additional repairs needed.

The console is 27" wide x 26" high x 60" long (approximate as it is still fully wrapped in storage). The stand is 17" wide x 27.5" high x 63" long.

The console is located 1.5 hours north of Chicago and any potential buyer is welcome to send a tech or come in person to check it out. I also have two extra channel modules that will be included. You will not find a console of this build and sound quality for anywhere near this price.

If the buyer wants the rack the patch bays and wiring are in I would include it. There is also the power supply and 19" rack controller for the console center section. The rack would not have a top as it is part of a bigger rack. If the buyer wanted the entire custom-built hardwood rack (3-bays) I would include it (obviously none of the other items pictured in the rack are included except patchbays, controller and power supply for console). You can see the rack in the photo above as well as the 19" controller under the headphone amp in patchbay photo. You could also remove the bays from rack but it's a lot of cabling! The top comes off and each bay comes apart from the next with fasteners. It also has LED lighting under the top.
