Made by Michael Millard for a friend (who ordered several Froggys) in 2010. Simple elegance. Superb condition. I can't find any marks. I have been the owner of this guitar for 10 years. This guitar was the fulfillment of my 25 year search for the perfect Jumbo 12-string. I have owned 2 Goodall's, 5 Taylors (555, 655, 855, and Kotke; mahogany, maple, rosewood), the best Guilds (Hoboken and RI), a Morgan, a Larrivee, played 3 McPherson's, a Boucher. Yes I am a 12-string nut. After that long search for me this was fulfillment.
26 Inch Scale (Meant to be strung with 13-56 and tuned down to C or C#. The fellow who commissioned this guitar was a Kottke aficionado).
Froggy installed an end-pin jack but no pickup at the buyers request. The guitar is very stable and seems to hold tune for weeks/months.
The G shape is very beautiful slightly different than the traditional Jumbo. Check out Froggy's website for a description of this body-style. To order today this guitar would be $13,000.
This guitar doesn't have the "out-of-phase" jangly 12-string sound. Instead, it sounds like two guitars. Super solid (but heavy,) pristine, AVS case with 6 latches.
