We have had dozens, if not over 100 of these since we opened in 1985- I grew up in a town in the early 70's that did not have a real music store, and you could see these at Woolworths (along with Zenon made Auditions) or Stella's at the local record store. I have loved these wacky dimestore guitars all my life, and usually have a few at the shop. This one popped up 4 or 5 years ago in rough shape, it had been refretted, the body over sprayed and it did not work. I leveled the finish and buffed it out, one of the fret guys seated a few frets and leveled them, and we fixed the electronics- played and sounded fine, and those pickups will surprise you. We hung it up, more as a fixture, and has been off the floor for years. We took it down today, cleaned it, tweaked it, put a new set of 10's on it and cranked it up, and ready to boogie! As far as looks and playing it's good, but isn't perfect due to overspray and such. Thanks for looking.
