Huss & Dalton partnered with legendary guitarist Albert Lee on this stunning MJ Deluxe Signature Edition model. This is an exact copy of the MJ which Albert first began playing in 2007 and recorded multiple albums with. He played, recorded and toured with a long who’s who cast of musicians including The Everly Brothers, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris and The Crickets and more over his long and illustrious career. A perfect match for this consummate professional and gentleman, his custom signature MJ is the ultimate in style and sophistication, unique and sublime with a big jumbo voice and unlimited versatility. The back, sides and neck are highly Flamed Maple paired with a Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top completely finished in transparent black. Accentuated by the Flamed Koa bindings, rosett and pickguard, the guitar exudes elegance and originality. It’s beauty is only surpassed by the classic thump of the jumbo form.
Albert Lee’s signature adorns the 12th fret in Mother Of Pearl complimented by the ‘Stingray’ fretboard inlays. Half herringbone top purfling and double rosette combined with the Flamed Koa trim accent the see-through full gloss black finish. Ebony fretboard, bridge, headstock overlay and pins along with Gold Gotoh tuners with Ebony buttons complete this build. The brass plate located inside the sound hole is stamped “Albert Lee Signature Edition #20”.
