Gretsch USA Custom drum set 14x18 bass drum, 8x12 tom tom, & 14x14 floor tom with matching 5-1/2x14 4157W snare drum in matching original Red Rosewood finish. Snare stand in photos is NOT included. The drums are all from different years.

14x18 Bass Drum:

Features: 6-ply Maple Jasper shell, Silver Sealer painted interior, Die-Cast hoops, #9001 CR Series single tom holder, #9012 CR Series retractable spurs, Cyclops front bass drum anchor, “Square” badge, Gretsch-branded Clear Powerstroke 3 batter and Gretsch-branded Clear resonant. Model #: 4244. Serial #: 147349. Manufactured approximately 1984.

8x12 Tom Tom:

Features: 6-ply Maple Jasper shell, Silver Sealer painted interior, Die-Cast hoops, batter and resonant 5540 Tone Control, ”Stop Sign” badge, Coated Permatone batter head and Clear Remo Ambassador resonant. Model #: 4415. Serial #: 119888. Manufactured approximately 1981.

14x14 Floor Tom:

Features: 6-ply Maple Jasper shell, Silver Sealer painted interior, Die-Cast hoops, #9022 CR Series floor tom brackets and legs, “Square” badge, Coated Permatone batter head and Clear Remo Ambassador resonant. Model #: 4417. Serial #: 20535. Manufactured approximately 1989.

5-1/2x14 Snare Drum:

Features: 6-ply Maple Jasper shell, Silver Sealer painted interior, Die-Cast hoops, Lighting strainer and butt plate, Snap-in key holder with key, 5540 Tone Control, “Stop Sign” badge, Gretsch Responso 20-strand snare wires, Remo Coated Ambassador and original Clear Permatone resonant. Model #: 4157W. Serial #: 84172. Manufactured approximately 1978.

Condition is 9/10, Excellent. This drum set is in unrestored condition. All parts are original to the drum set with the exception of the tension rod washers on the snare drum. Original Red Rosewood finish is in very good condition and matches well between all drums. Chrome plating overall is in very good condition, very little pitting, with some wear consistent with age. One of the floor tom legs is longer than the other two and has an aftermarket rubber foot. Any observable issues have been noted:

14x18 Bass Drum:

• A: scratch in finish
• B: scratches in finish
• C: minor pitting on chrome
• D: scratches in batter bd hoop
• E: scratches in batter bd hoop
• F: claw indentations in bd hoop
• G: bent T-rods (approx. 6 total are bent)
• H: pitting on bass drum claws

8x12 Tom Tom:

• A: pitting in chrome
• B: scratching in finish
• C: scratching in finish
• D: scratching in finish

14x14 Floor Tom:

• A: scratching in finish
• B: scratching in finish
• C: scratching in finish
• D: scratching in finish

5-1/2x14 Snare Drum:

• A: scratching in finish
• B: scratching in chrome
• C: imperfection in finish
• D: minor damage in chrome
