From Eastman:
The new Luthier Series is a template on which our Traditional Series body Shapes are merged with Eastman's AC Series appointments. The European spruce top matches perfectly with the solid AA quilted Sapele back and sides. A sound port located on the shoulder gives the player an enhanced soundthat is normally only experienced by the listener. The flipped hurricane inlays, matched with the beautiful magenta and turquois purfling, give these guitars the elegance and grace for when old meets new. It is the sound of the future, built on the tradition of the past.
