This is an absolutely gorgeous made in the USA hand wired 50 watt guitar amp made by Steven Sloane of Sloane Amplification out of Chagrin Falls, Ohio. It's essentially a clone of a 50 watt Marshall that's hot-rodded to stunning effect.
In a conversation with Sloane he said this is the early basis for what went on to be the Arcturus model that Sloane currently offers, though that amplifier has a LOT of additional features and tweaks that this prototype one off does not.
That being said, this amp is still absolutely bulletproof. The build quality is superb, the tones on this are quite flexible, the cleans are brilliant and warm while the gritty gain heavy settings are 1000% classic British rock and heavy metal aggression. The FX loop also allows for some additional flexibility, I've been able to push some incredible sludge tones out of this amp with ease, and slaving this amp is a real breeze as well.
Cosmetically this amplifier is in fantastic shape, there is one small blemish on the logo plate on the front that's really only visible up close. Other than that the white textured Tolex has a couple minor scuffs but they're not particularly noticeable. I've included as many angles as makes sense in the photos attached to this listing.
