Super rare, classic, Ludwig 14x5" Supra-Phonic snare drum from the 1958-1959 "Transition Badge" period. This drum is ALMOST perfect. There are two holes on either side of the muffler. The shell is slightly bent at the muffler. Otherwise this drum is in excellent condition. Brass hoops. Early rotary muffler.
These snares are nice and articulate, crisp and totally versatile. From Rock to Jazz, this drum will sing for years.
