Chris Larkin built several high-quality models of bass guitars from the 1980s onwards, all with unique designs and beautiful details. Introduced in the second half of the decade, the Reacter was his most successful model, notable for its relatively small body shape with high playing comfort. Definitely a special bass guitar that you won't come across too often!
This fretless Reacter B4 has a Santos mahogany body adorned by a wenge top, and the bass features a beautifully glossy lacquer finish. The armrest is comfortably rounded, while deep cutaways make the full fingerboard accessible. The mahogany neck has a scale of 864 mm and features an ebony fingerboard. Hardware by Schaller ensures the bass remains smooth to play and stable in tune.
Built in 1987, the bass still looks more than excellent for its age. With some dings and light play marks on the body, top and neck, this Reacter is still in excellent condition. The bass comes with TFOA passport in a hardshell case.
