Nearly 50 years old, this ENTIRELY ORIGINAL 4-bolt neck Fender Telecaster is in truly exceptional condition. The original gloss black finish, white pickguard, meaty frets, maple neck and 'ashtray' bridge cover make for a striking presentation.

Per documentation (incl in the sale), serial #635541 was acquired from the original owner who purchased it … in 1975 … at Gelb Music in Redwood City, CA (still in business) with money saved from his paper route. The guitar was played in a garage band through high school and not long after was put in its case and stored in a closet ... for the next 40 years.

Minor imperfections only: 1" bruise on the back of the neck. Two small splits in the paint. Otherwise the guitar had NO issues, prior repairs, modifications or replacement parts.
