Ridiculously rare and almost never for sale - we who own these gems never let them go! Uptown Technologies was an American company who designed and manufactured some of the coolest switching and signal distribution systems for electric instrumentalists, and their clients were some of the biggest names of their era. UT wizards created lab-proven, high performance signal distribution for guitar, bass, and any other instrument with a pickup. I was lucky enough to work with UT in the early '90s and their product rollout for Flash, Great Divide, and Pedal Pusher lines. I have also owned and used a Radial JD7 and Michael Wagener's MW1 - don't let the Pedal Pusher's simplicity and ease of use fool you... to my ears, it's in the same league sonically as those more expensive systems.

Our Pedal Pusher is a 1-in / 8-out magic black box that has an adjustable input impedance and variable output for level matching, allowing for a mind-blowing number of possibilities.... One instrument to any combination of up to 8 amps, or one instrument with paralleled FX chains / signal paths, or any combination of the above. I just tested the Pedal Pusher with five different tube amps and the tonal options at my disposal were amazing!

The Pedal Pusher is eerily transparent and the variable load is great for finding an input instrument's perfect matched setting. The single input is on the front along with four outputs - the remaining four outputs are on the rear panel along with a ground lift switch which can help resolve pesky hums. Whatever is inputted is mirrored to all eight outputs, easy as pie. Comes with an IEC power cord.

Part of a lifetime collection of musical tools & toys, it’s lived its entire life in my studio safely on an amp shelf, powered by symmetrically balanced & filtered AC, and looks to be as clean as can be. I took photos in bright lights to expose anything that could be captured in picture. It’s really minty looking and sounding - used but never abused. These pictures provide clear details of exactly what you’ll receive. However, out of an excessive abundance of caution, I will classify it as excellent so no one is surprised. Minor finish scratching on the cover are the only issues. She's quite unique and quality through and through! Please enjoy all the photos and ask any questions whatsoever. It was last used just moments before this listing and it worked wonderfully, just like every other day at PlethoraTone. I'm only selling due to downsizing - otherwise this gem would be staying put! Includes power cable.

We really take care of our gear.

If you want or need more photos, just let me know - a video might be an option, too. I'm newer to Reverb but have been in the industry for 40+ years and will gladly provide references. As to shipping, everything gets safely and securely packed and almost always ships by the next business day. I *do my very best* to ship same day whenever humanly possible, because I know I appreciate getting my purchases quickly, too! Tracking information will be provided as soon as it’s generated. Likewise, we appreciate immediate payments when agreeing to buy our items (unless you’ve made prior arrangements beforehand).

If you’re in the Nashville area, please come by the studio to see the amazing Pedal Pusher in action for yourself. There's a whole bunch of other gear also up for grabs, too. All items are for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this listing at any time, and do my best to quickly update Reverb accordingly.

As with all of our equipment, we’re offering this Pedal Pusher as described, sold as is, and non-returnable. It’s just as reliably and accurately described as all the other studio gear I've sold on Reverb - like the Blue Cactus + Kiwi mics, Vintech + John Hardy + BK + Focusrite + Langevin preamps, vintage Fender amps + guitars, Sunn PL-20, Roland PG-300 + PG-800 + PG-1000, Korg REI, Moog Prodigy, Crumar Spirit, UA 6176, UA 610s, Manley Vari-Mu, Langevin EQs, Neumann U87 + SM-2 + TLM49 + KM184s, Sennheiser 421s, Waldorf Microwave XT + MicroQ plus so many other basses, guitars, synths, processors, stomp boxes and accessories that all went to happy, new owners!

This Pedal Pusher is just one of the many unusual synth, guitar, bass, and recording items heading to new homes. Check out our other goodies already posted on Reverb!

Thanks for looking. Please shout if we can help in any way whatsoever!
