Listing update 08/21/24
Previous owner did this pickup mod. It started as an HS model and he added some Pure Vintage 65s.
I just upgraded the guitar pickups to: Seymour Duncan Antiquity I ($249 new).
The closeup pic shows the black polepieces of the antiquity. Volume pot is a Fender 1 meg linear like the vintage JMs, the tone pot is an audio taper 500k with a .022 cap. Frets are great, lots of life left, body is clean with a 2 minor dings, see pics.
Pretty bright guitar easily mellowed with the tone control or back off the volume pot. Sounds very close to a Jazzmaster, a little fuller in the midrange. 24 inch scale, 22 frets, rosewood fingerboard, nut is 1.65. Stock hardware.
Road Runner cloth covered case.
