Straight from our Carmine Appice Drum and Cymbals Collection. In great condition. This prototype cymbal is from another phase of the development of what was to become Carmine's signature model "Shade" cymbal. Carmine personally developed the idea after banging on a brass lampshade and loving the sound.
One of 2 Shade prototypes made for Carmine by Sabian. This is the master Shade cymbal that Sabian used to spec their production models. The cymbals were distributed by DDrum but produced by Sabian. Check out Carmine playing one of these Shade cymbals with Cactus in the video. It really sounds great!!
