Brazilian rosewood bowl back mandolin probably from the turn of the century. All of the wood is there. there is a very obvious large crack on the top. That needs to be repaired. I’m not sure about the braces inside. It is missing the Pickguard, tuner, some inlay, bridge and tailpiece . The back is made out of Brazilian rosewood it is beautiful and seems to be sturdy and not needing any repair. One part looks like it may have been glued back together at some point. It looks like there was binding around the front board at some point that has come off.
I bought it from an older retired luthier, hoping that I would get to fix it up. But I just have way too many projects right now.
