Fender Custom Shop 1955 Telecaster and Pro Jr relic amp 2005 - transparent blonde

For sale is my Chris Fleming master-built Fender Custom Shop 1955 Telecaster relic guitar with the rare matching Pro Junior tweed relic combo amp.

I bought this set new in 2006… played it for an hour or so… then put it into climate-controlled storage, where it stayed until now. Took them out… played another hour… handed them to my techie… came back, played them for another hour. And now I’m listing them here. Oh, well. It is a great set, looks super-cool, and sounds just as great as it looks, classic sweet Tele jingle… but I really think it should go to someone who will actually play it. And even after this, I still have just too many other options and too little time.

The condition of the set is effectively “as new”, which with a relic is a relative term. I have not added any scratches or anything - both the guitar and the amp are exactly the way they came to me from the dealer. My techie setup and intonated the guitar with a new 10s string set. He did have to replace the filter caps on the amp, which apparently can go bad without the amp actually being used.

To my knowledge, the amps weren’t sold separately, only together with the guitar. On the back of the amp, it notes that it was meant for Australia… but this set has never left North America.

Guitar comes in relic’d tweed case, with all case candy, certificate, picks, guitar strap, tags. Amp comes with CS cover and tags.
