“This Marantz 5220 Stereo cassette deck was recently serviced November 2024, see sticker on back. All of the cassette functions work well except for the left microphone slider. The left microphone slider for volume works fine but the right mic slider is stuck in the middle position, shown in the photos, so the right mic function only works at that volume postion.

There is also a bent bottom right corner of the faceplate also shown in the pictures. Based on the bent right corner of the faceplate, the right mic slider being stuck in the middle volume position and the minot blemishes on the deck described and shown in the photos, I have adjusted the sale of this unit appropriately.”

This vintage Marantz 5220 stereo cassette deck is a must-have for any audiophile. With its sleek design and high-quality craftsmanship, it's sure to impress. Made in Japan, this unit has been well-maintained and is in excellent working condition. The Marantz 5220 is a rare find in today's market, and its sound quality is unmatched. Whether you're a collector or a music lover, this cassette deck is the perfect addition to your audio setup. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a piece of audio history.
