The 5f4 Super amp is one of the most rare, sought after, and collectable Fender amps ever produced.

For your consideration is this 1958 Fender Super amp in excellent original working condition. Numbers matching. And to complete the package a rare Victoria st. Louis dust cover is included as shown.

The original tweed has a beautiful patina, the chassis chrome is in excellent condition and the silk screened graphics are strong. No extra holes, no mods.

-the chrome on the face of the chassis is clean, minor pitting, the white silkscreened lettering /numbering’s are 95% intact

- matched pair of P10R blue frame Jensens with bell covers 220847 (November 58). Both have been professionally reconed

-The stock tube chart is present, denoting the coveted 5F4 circuit, stamped "HK" date code (November 1958), Production 10.

-The original lacquered tweed is intact and clean, with a bit of scuffing, staining and wear around-the-corners and back. Thats a  ‘Victoria luggage st. Louis brand slip cover, a prize in itself.

-The circuit retains all of the original yellow Astron coupling and tone caps, pots and knobs. A recent maintenance was performed including new electrolytic capacitors carefully placed inside the original ‘Astron Minimite‘ cardboard covers to maintain a vintage appearance. A (period correct grey) grounded cord was added and all controls/sockets/jacks cleaned. The original handle and AC cord are included. A matched pair of NOS Tungsol 6L6gb & other choice tubes is supplied.
