1968 Gibson EB-2DC. This is an interesting bass. Gibson didn't make left handed bass in the 1960's, so this is a right handed model that has been converted to left handed. I bought this bass here on Reverb in 2014. I don't know who did the conversion/restoration, but they were clearly a professional. It was originally cherry red, as you can see from the back of the headstock where they retained the serial number. Most of the hardware is original such as, both pickups, tuning knobs, pickguard, control knobs and bridge. I'm not 100% sure about the baritone switch, it seems to have been replaced. The wiring harness and input jack have been replaced, but the original are included. I don't believe the bridge/pickup cover is original. There aren't drilled holes on the body for the cover. The case is older, but I don't know if it's original. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
