Here is a very nice Lakland Skyline Series 44-02 bass guitar! This maple board instrument sports a black finish and is in very good condition.
Features include an ash body, maple neck and maple fretboard. It has a 34" scale, 1.6" nut, and a 10" radius. It has a Lakland MM humbucker at the bridge and a Lakland J-style at the neck, along with an on-board preamp. The tuners are Hipshot Ultralites and the bridge is a Lakland Dual Access unit.
This one appears to be from 2006 and has been case-kept in a home studio. It has some faint marks from handling on the body finish but no dents or damage. The protective plastic is still on the backplate. The back of the neck looks like it has picked up some subtle patina from playing. There is also a small crack in the wood behind the 1st fret that appears stable. This is likely where the heel-adjust truss rod ends. The truss rod functions correctly.
This one weighs 8lbs 9oz. The neck measures .760 to .865 at the 1st and 12th. It has a classic C shaped profile with a narrow nut that is very easy to play. The bass is punchy and lively with a ton of sustain. The onboard preamp and panning-style blend between pickups offers a multitude of useful tones.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes some paperwork.
