This custom relic’d strat was built to loosely resemble a 1961 Strat and play like one too. It has recently been professionally set up and it plays really good with a low action. It has had the frets leveled and dressed, truss rod adjusted, a tusq nut installed, and the frets polished.

The body is alder and was made, painted, and aged by MJT. The body alone weighed 3 lbs 13 oz and the fully assembled guitar is pretty light weight too, but not ridiculously light. The body was also upgraded to copper shielding tape (better than black sheilding paint). The pickguard and hardware are all from MJT with the exception of the tremolo claw, pickup covers(fender), knobs(fender), and selector switch tip(fender).

All of the electronics are from a Fender Player Stratocaster and have not been modified. The neck is a licensed by Fender Allparts neck that was painted in nitro and aged. The neck is maple with a rosewood finger board and features vintage size frets and a vintage 7.25 inch fretboard radius. The tuners and string tree are genuine Fender parts from the road-worn series.

This listing will also come with a tremolo bar and a gig bag.
