This 1937 National Dobro Tri-Cone Exploding Palm Tree is owned by Jason Newsted
Serial: A2909. This is a fairly clean example, with a very chunky, round green neck. When fretting, especially when tuned to standard, there is a bit of internal buzzing. This could be easily adjusted by a luthier. There is a crack that runs down the middle of the entire fingerboard. This guitar is clearly an older piece, but still has plenty of life left. Beautiful tone.
