This custom Jeff Tweedy "Rockets WL-K" has a hand-painted "Rockets" scene that was co-designed by Jeff Tweedy and Waterloo Guitars as a unique tip of the cap to the American tradition of stencil guitars from the Depression era.
There are only TWO of these guitars in existence - this one purchased from JT - and the one Jeff Tweedy owns.
It is signed in silver on the front by Jeff Tweedy. For guitar collectors and Wilco or Jeff Tweedy fans, this is a very unique guitar to own. This one was from Jeff’s collection to benefit a charity.
Note: The one for sale DOES NOT have a pickup system installed. Jeff added that to his for touring. BUT there are two pics of the actual guitar.
