The Fender American Acoustasonic Jazzmaster All-Mahogany
offers players even more tonal possibilities to the seemingly endless sonic
range of our groundbreaking Acoustasonic platform. Equipped with the
revolutionary Fender and Fishman-designed Acoustic Engine and constructed
entirely of mahogany, this powerful guitar goes from acoustic shape-shifting to
electric rhythm tones, all with balanced highs, focused mid-range, and
pronounced bass response. Continuing our legacy of purposeful innovation, this
guitar represents a new alternative for artist expression from the studio to
the stage.
Highlights
The hollow Jazzmaster-inspired mahogany body is the largest of the three
Acoustasonic models, producing a powerful acoustic tone with a boosted low end.
The Fender and Fishman-designed Acoustic Engine powers the Acoustasonic
Jazzmaster and delivers a new and unique collection of acoustic and electric
voices. Designed and voiced specifically for the Jazzmaster, the Fender
Acoustasonic Shawbucker provides an aggressive humbucking sound that can be
played solo or blended with an acoustic voice for unique tonal characteristics.
Other pickups include the Fishman Under-Saddle Transducer and Fishman
Acoustasonic Enhancer. The Blend Knob selects and blends voices. The mahogany
Jazzmaster neck and the 12-inch radius ebony fingerboard with 22 frets offer a
familiar playing feel and adds warmth to the guitar’s tone. The patented
Stringed Instrument Resonance System (SIRS), inlaid top, and modern electronics
were created expressly for this instrument. This state-of-the-art guitar is
crafted in Corona, CA, at the same factory as Fender’s iconic electric
instruments.
