This Getzen A series 580S Professional trumpet has been dated to 1974-75. Serial Number is A19303
It has been in service to a professional player, and very well taken care of. Its tone has lively/bright tone quality, great for a jazz player and lead trumpet. Partials are smooth to navigate with pistons that have little to non-existent friction.
The 580S A series has a Bflat to A half step lever, which are rarely to no longer in production.
This trumpet has been cleaned and set up in our shop. Getzen trumpets have been in service to, and endorsed by professional player Carl- “Doc” Severson.
