This was a combo that was turned into a head. The conversion isn’t perfect but it’s straight and solid. The preamp has also been modded on lead 1 and lead 2. The clean and crunch channel on this amp is really good. The lead 1 and 2 just had to much gain and bass. It’s now a more gradual step up from clean,crunch, lead 1, lead 2. Lead 1 is now more of a hot rodded 800 and lead 2 is more of a super hot rodded 800. Really made this a fantastic amp. The mod design came from Jason at Headfirst amplification. He has videos on his YouTube channel of this mod.
