YAMAHA Yamaha 1979 GC-10 [SN A-394] (07/12)

This is an all solid handcrafted model supervised by Toshiro Kato from the days when all Yamaha guitars were still made in Japan.
The body, which has been sufficiently drained of water over the past 30 years, produces a dead sound that cannot be found in guitars of recent years.
The tension in the bass and the sharpness in the treble give a sense of the skill of the Yamaha craftsmen of that time.

The guitar has been cleaned, string replaced, string height adjusted, and neck ironed after arrival at our company.
The neck is warped and has been ironed out, but only slightly, so the saddle has been lowered to the limit for adjustment.

There are some paint chips on the sides and back of the body, but other than that, it is in good condition considering its age with only minor scratches.
