This is a brand new unit that was masterfully built by Freedom Electric in Florida.
The unit was finished a few days ago, built, calibrated and tested at Freedom Electric. I ran drums through it for a few hours but it was never racked. It’s flawless and sounds amazing.
In my opinion Hairball makes the best 1176 compressors. I have two other Rev A’s and two Rev D’s from them. These reproductions are the closest you can get to an original 1176.
The reason I’m selling this so soon after receiving it is because I got it as a mono compressor for my desk but I also just got a Neve 500 chassis and I have one slot left in my desk. I also have four other Hairball 1176’s.
