KARTAKOU WARMER // HANDMADE OVERDRIVE

For many guitarists, the overdrive was the first pedal to unlock a vast world of electric guitar tones. These pedals can be found on pedalboards in every corner of the globe. No matter whether you're just starting your journey, making a record in the studio, or a whole stadium calmed down in anticipation for you to launch the riff.

The Warmer can start with a soft, subtle clipping and then ramp up to a rough overdrive, making a strong impact on your listeners. The mid-boost effect ensures that your sound stays evident in the mix.

The history of the Warmer's development involves countless hours dedicated to sound enhancement and an extensive effort to fine-tune the manufacturing process.

WARMER IDENTITIES

• OVERDRIVE/BOOST MODES
  Configure Warmer to run as a boost pedal with available Gain, Tone, and Volume knobs. Turn the left switch down to activate boost mode.
• VOLTAGE UPGRADE
  The internal voltage pump draws standard 9 Volts pedal power and doubles it up to 18 Volts. This creates a bipolar supply for the main chip to pull out all of its hidden dynamic potential.
• SWAP-SWAP
  Every main chip has its unique character. The Warmer comes with five chips. Discover the nuances by swapping from the classic JRC4558 to the contemporary MC33078.
• LOWS REVIVAL
  An overdrive gain stage crops certain low frequencies to establish a focused overdrive tone. However, all guitar setups are unique. Bring lows back by moving up the right switch.
• SOFT / ROUGH CLIPPING
  The Warmer offers two overdrive styles. Turn the middle switch up to activate rough limiting. The feature is available only in overdrive mode.
• PASSIVE / BUFFERED BYPASS
  Keep passive bypass enabled if you are a minimalist or use active pickups. Otherwise, activate the J-Fet bypass to keep the overtones defended from next to Warmer cables.
• TURN THE LIGHTS ON
  Enjoy magnificent lighting while the effect is engaged. Take off the back cover and activate or deactivate the lights operation via the lights switch.
• HAND BUILT
  I believe machines are good. However human beings are unbeatable. Handcrafting adds a certain feel to every assembled device. All of my devices are made by myself.

The Warmer works with a 9V DC power supply, center negative.

I'm open to customizing the base and LED colors, as well as printing your graphics (a band logo, etc.) on the pedal. Each customization typically costs an extra $10-30. Let me know if you're interested.
