Excellent Guitar by Lynn Dudenbostel. A copy of Jimmie Rodgers Martin 000-45S custom made for Jimmie in June 18, 1928. This guitar features first rate Brazilian Rosewood and a Smokey Mountain top from John Arnold. The grain of this top is very dense, it is unlikely that this combination of material will ever be possible again. Lynn is no longer making 45 style guitars, ( they are too labour intensive. This guitar is serial # 16.. About 8 months ago Lynn put in a new saddle for me and did the fret work. Any questions of a neck reset are the concerns of the new buyer. The next is mounted as a “post and lintel” without using glue. Lynn thinks the guitar is fine as it is. I will not accept a return on this question. I had this guitar at Lowe Vintage priced at $25,000, And if it had a snow flake fretboard and a torch headstock it would have sold.
