James White Baritone 2023 - Spruce

I commissioned this guitar last year from James and it came around Christmas time. It is a wonderful guitar and I love it, but I have only played it for about an hour total. After many years of playing a larger body baritone I found that I am not able to transition to the sound of the smaller body. This guitar sounds like it should be in a folk style band and my style is much more indie. I tried changing the strings to several different sizes and brands but it never changed the sound enough for me. I put the same new strings on both of my baritones to compare the sound keeping it apples to apples but the sounds are different on this guitar. So it has been in the case since Christmas time because I have felt unsure of what to do. I have decided that someone else how really appreciates this guitar should have it and that it should not be here sitting, so I decided to sell it to that person who knows and loves and admires James White for his craft and skill and above all else, his incredible sound. This guitar is loud but still keeps that crisp edge. Each string stands out so clear, it truly is an amazing guitar.
