Carmine Appice's ddrum, Custom Made 4-Piece, 7-Ply Drum Set, Plus full set of hardware! 26/16/13/14x5 - Red Sparkle
This 4-piece ddrum Carmine Appice ES Limited Edition set is the very first set of only 100 of these limited edition sets ever made. The set was Carmine's personal kit. He used the set in live performances with his band King Cobra circa 2013 including their official "Have A Good Time" video below. The set is a replica of the drum kit Carmine Appice used on the Ed Sullivan Show in February 1968 while in the band Vanilla Fudge.
This beautiful, 7 ply maple kit in a stunning red sparkle lacquer finish remains in excellent condition. Original DDrum heads on the bass drum and new Evans heads on the toms. One of Carmine's signature model heads is on the snare. batter side. There are a couple nicks on the bass drum, but that's about it. This set looks like it's still new! These drums sound great, what else would you expect from a signature set made for one of the greatest rock drummers in history.
Carmine Appice hand signed the inside of the bass drum "Carmine Appice #1", indicating it was the first of the only 100 sets made.
The set includes the complete set of Carmine's cases seen in the photos and the complete set of Carmine's Mapex and ddrum hardware seen in the last photo. The hardware pack includes 3 cymbal stands, hi hat stand, snare stand, tom mount and arm, and a brand new ddrum bass drum pedal.
COA signed by Carmine Appice.
