this guitar has mojo for days! Here's the deal. I bought this guitar from the original owner and it was closet kept in it's original blue chipboard case. it was kept in an double wide trailer so the humidity did it's thing and you have some of the best checking i've ever seen. unfortunately it did it's thing to the pots and capacitor. they needed replaced. all of the pots wiring and maestro has been put into a plastic bag with it's screws inside the case. there is no trem arm. the original bridge is included, but I’ve installed music city bridge abr-1 conversion posts specifically for this model guitar and put an original 1964 brass saddle ABR-1 from an ash standard on this bad boy. Tone city. i just got it setup by my local luthier. he couldn't put the thing down. check the serial number. dates to 1964 with 1965 pots. it's a ridiculously light 4 pound guitar and a joy to play. 1 and 10/16 inch nut on my milwaukee measure. original pickup sounds amazing. the electronics were upgraded with linear cts pots and cloth wire. emerson paper in oil cap .22uf and it's just RIGHT. the tone is very usable. original frets with plenty of life. the whole guitar is stock except the potd and cap. The original tortoise shell pickguard is still in tact though it was cracked all the way through. It was glued/repaired while in the shop and is in fine shape. original tuners are still there too! Buttons in great shape and tune well.. Very cool. while in the shop the cavity was shielded with copper tape and this thing is QUIET for a single coil. this is the mustang killer.
