Very rare 90s Edwards (by ESP) Kerry King KKV for domestic Japan market.

What differentiates this from the ESP version is that it is bolt-on, has ESP stock pickups, Kahler-style bridge, and rosewood fingerboard, but also has the EMG PA-2 booster onboard.
The paintjob is the most expensive cost component here and has an awesome textured feel (only on the body, not on the neck). Being applied by hand, there is a level of artistry involved so not all crackle finishes end up the same. By googling other examples which I am sure you will, you would realise that many look poorer than this, like amateur hour. If you think something looks bad, chances are you're not the only one who thinks so and that's probably the reason why it's cheap.

This Edwards model was not cheap when it was released either, the ESP version being the most expensive signature model offering at the time. It is top-end and not many were made, and you only need to take a look at it to know why. Even the body back and neck are finished, making them extremely labour-intensive. The minor cost savings in parts for Edwards make this a very good value proposition considering the prices of an ESP KKV today. It is also a very legitimate substitute for gigging or band rehearsal, as you probably would not want to bring your ESP out that much.

Fingerboard and inlays are clean and tight. This guitar is in excellent clean condition, aside from the dings on both pointy ends as shown, which have been touched up professionally, are now barely noticeable. It would easily be considered collector's condition otherwise.

The trem arm is included. Since the original leather gigbag may not afford adequate protection for shipping, I obtained a new ESP semi-hardcase (cost $250) to ship in instead. It is very large and thickly padded. Note you will get the new semi-hardcase only, unless you'd like to pay more in shipping for the other gigbag.

If you think that it looks killer and is affordable to you, you have the chance now to own a guitar that many only dream of for years but have never owned or even seen.
