Ludwig Marching Percussion Timp-Tom Trio #570 with #525 Carrier Early 1970’s - White Marine Pearl WMP

Ludwig Marching Percussion Timp-Tom Trio #570 (14”, 16”, 18”) with Ludwig Multi-Mount Carrying Holder #525 in good condition. These are the ones that are 10” deep. They are from around the early to mid-1970’s. The inside of the shell has a varnish or shellac finish. This is the version prior to the one with a metal rim on the bottom edge, but this set fared pretty well without them. I took close up shots of the couple of areas that show a slight separation on the bottom rim of the drums. The White Marine Pearl covering has shrunk a bit in the approximately half century the drums have existed. The photos show the gaps between the edges of the covering; they are near where the drums mount to the carrying holder, so they aren’t noticeable to an audience. The carrying holder was missing a couple minor pieces, so I improvised those two pieces out of hardware I had in my shop. (See photo.) One of the mounts on the drum was missing a piece of the clip, so I improvised one from a car part that functions well. I’m not sure if the white Ludwig belts that I am including are the “correct” ones for carrying these drums, but they work if you cross the two longer parts of the belt on your back and strap the shorter parts of the belt around your waist. The black belt is not original and connects to the pad in front and goes around your back. I used the toms as concert toms on drum stands with my drum set. It’s rare to find a complete set of these with the carrying holder. This is your chance to get them at one reasonable price instead of piece by expensive piece with all the extra shipping costs that would be needed to do that. If you’ve been waiting to add these to your collection, this is your chance.
