Marshall JCM2000 Half Stack! with Newest PCB + Upgraded JCM900 Cab + Footswitch
Some say that the TSL 100 is one of the best amps Marshall has ever made. I agree!
This half-stack is wonderful! I used it mainly for recording for the last 10 years.
It has served me very well.
Channel 1 - is a compressed Fender-type clean with a Marshall attack. (Unlike most Marshalls)
Channels 2 - 3 are Vintage and JCM800 (Modern)
The vintage channel is nicely touch-sensitive! If you play soft, it cleans up to a "Marshall Clean" sound
with the classic Marshall, "fast attack". Play harder and it sings or barks!
It has a wide range of tonal possibilities, so what you get out of it will depend on your taste in tone and how you set the dials.
* The popularity of this amp was squashed due to Marshalls badly designed PCB board in the earliest JCM2000s that caused Bias Drift.
That has been corrected on this amp so there will be no more bias drift. It took Marshall three tries to get the PCB board right, but they finally did it!

My tech put the newest board in, re-tubed, and biased the amp. Now there will be no problems!
NOTE: If you want a JCM2000 buy one with the newest board! (Look it up on Google)

JCM 900 - 1960A Cab

The JCM 900 1960A cab comes standard with Celestion G12-75 speakers.I hated the harshness of these speakers so I changed them to:
A pair of Celestion Vintage 30s
&
A pair of Eminence Legend GB 128(A great Celestion Green Back Clone) In an X pattern.
Now this cab is Chunky, Crunchy, Smooth, and Fat!
There are a few tears and scuffs but nothing bad. This is typical of any older amp.
The TSL and Cab have rarely been out of my studio so they are both in great shape.
I will never use them out so it's time to give them to someone else to enjoy.
