Up for sale is an early 60’s Slingerland 12 x 22” Duco Bass Drum-Blue/ Silver.
What is unique about this drum is that it is 12” in depth. Apparently, from what I can determine from a few vintage guys that frequent our shop, most of the duco bass drums built around this time were 14” depth x 22” diameter, so this a a little rare! It has a beautiful sound. The Drum is in AMAZING shape for being over 60 years old! It has the ORIGINAL calf skin heads! The only non original part are the T Rods were changed out to key rods.
NOTE: This Drum does not have spurs, but can easily be adapted to drum set playing simply by adding the clip on style vintage spurs. ( we can help with that as well !)
