Dobro Resonator 1976 - Tobacco Burst

This 1976 Dobro, Model # D 919 6, is the square neck, wood bodied version of Dobro's iconic resonator guitars. It's in very good to excellent condition and appears to have been well cared for. Neck is straight and string height appears normal. The nut may have been replaced at one time. There are several nicks, dings and scratches that one would expect from a nearly 50 year old wood instrument but nothing seriously detracts from the beauty and sound.

The sound is among the better Dobro's of this type that I have heard in a long time. It has a well balanced and tight projection allowing it to be heard easily within a combo of traditional acoustic instruments. If you're looking for a great sounding older Dobro from their better years, this example would be a perfect addition to your collection.

The case appears to be the original and is in good condition with some signs of wear in and out but in good service condition. There is 1 broken hasp that can be repaired. The lower half separated from the case and needs to be reattached. The part is included.
