Selling my officially licensed by Gibson, 1993 Orville "Les Paul", hand built at the Terada plant in Japan. These early 90's Japanese replicas are the last of an era, sought after for their precision craftsmanship, they offered more historic specs that players wanted in one model: a '59 neck profile, long tenon, Gibson shaped headstock, official "Les Paul" screenprint, 1pc neck, correct headstock/neck angles and good, old wood! Like so many of these, the "foto-flame" veneer has several long, but stable, checking which transverses the top coat (about the width of a .023 G string), though I felt they weren’t so intrusive to justify filing or refinishing! This has been my "goldilocks" reference Les Paul because it’s right' in-between the extremes of '58 and '60 LP specs. 9.5lbs/4.25kg, fantastic balance, stock humbuckers that are too good to swap, always in tune, insane sustain, and smooth MIJ pot taper (CTS who??) = infinite and effortless TOAN, easy access up and down the neck. Please look at all photos and ask any questions before purchase. Players in my area turned me on to these, so this is perfect for anyone who needs a reliable, vintage LP, or a modding platform/refinish candidate at a ‘gig safe’ price! Cheers.
