Allen Amplification Prototype head 2021 - Brown tolex

This has been listed for months, and I'm OK with that. If it sells, it sells, if it doesn't, it doesn't. The more I play it the more I want to keep it, and honestly, i just might. It's only listed because I don't NEED it. I did make another video of it using a pedalboard. Search Bmeyer5513 on YT.

One of a kind prototype head handbuilt by David Allen. He is local to me, and i got it from an area shop owner we are both friends with. He built this for a buddy out of spare parts from his shop in 2021 as he was winding down his business. This is an impeccibly handwired Tweed Champ/Tweed Princeton circuit with INCREDIBLE tube bias tremolo(has footswitch). Class A/single ended, tube rectified, switchable 6 or 10 watts depending on the power tube(6V6 or 6L6/5881). I'll provide a JJ5881 and an EH6V6. Small, lightweight(20ish lbs), sounds incredible with strats and teles. When I got it, it had no labeling, so I made some(I think it looks better). There are 3 chassis holes in the front that were plugged with plastic plugs; I put electrical tape over them(see pics). Signed chassis and Sharpie print on the back was from David Allen, the aluminum chassis front looks like it was painted black(scuffs easily), and there are some dents on the bottom panel(again, this was a one off parts build).

Since you wont be able to research it much online, feel free to ask any questions you may have. I did make 2 video clips, uploaded them to Youtube. This amp is a tweed tone monster, and a true one of a kind model that was never included in Allen Amplification's lineup. Sold "as is/no returns," changed to local pickup only.
